Visit the Rooftop Restaurant to enjoy an A la Carte meal whilst overlooking the spectacular surroundings, or enjoy a lighter bar meal in the Bar Lounge on the ground floor. Room was very spacious and decor is superb. It has 2 bars, 2 restaurants and is 3 miles from the Castle Trail. Spa was built in the 19th century and features original staircases, fireplaces and wooden panelling. Free parking is available on site. There is a tennis court, beauty salon and treatment rooms at Mercure Ardoe House. Near the pool you will find a hot tub, sauna and steam room. Blair’s restaurant serves fine cuisine made with fresh, local produce. Food and drink is also available in the bars, and the cosy Drawing Room with its grand fireplace.
Our tower room was comfortable and magical. Wonderful meals and friendly and professional staff. Would highly recommend this place to anyone. This beautiful 12th century castle, surrounded by tranquil grounds was the perfect choice for our anniversary trip.

Dinner in the dungeon was a unique experience, and the pre-dinner drinks in the library made us feel like temporary aristocrats.
